Job description
The Yield Analyst position within the Advanced Packaging Technology and Manufacturing (APTM) Yield Organization focuses on driving yield improvement activities across packaging technologies. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define a yield roadmap and utilize data analytics to extract insights from multiple data sources. The analyst will also prepare yield reports, monitor factory yield issues, and develop proactive measures to enhance yield. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor with +4 years of experience or Master with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D degree with 1+ years of experience in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or any other relevant STEM field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics using Python and/or JMP.
- Familiarity with Python libraries for data science work such as NumPy, Pandas, Scipy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Responsibilities
- Define yield roadmap and drive yield improvement activities through yield working group/taskforce.
- Extract key insights through data analytics from various data sources such as inline tool data, images from metrology tools, electrical tests, and lab characterization.
- Prepare yield reports and communicate key messages/insights in various forums.
- Monitor factory yield issues and respond promptly to daily yield loss events.
- Develop proactive and preventative measures to improve yield.
