This role at Intel focuses on performance verification methodology and circuit quality signoff for the CPU team. The individual will evaluate new process nodes and recommend frequency targets while balancing performance, power, area, and effort. Additionally, the candidate will take ownership of pre-to-post silicon correlation and debug circuit marginality sightings.

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or Master's degree with 4+ years in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of CPU circuit or backend design experience.
• 5+ years of experience in circuit design and STA.

• Drive performance verification methodology and circuit/timing quality signoff for the CPU team.
• Evaluate new process nodes through circuit simulations and recommend frequency targets for the CPU.
• Make informed trade-offs between performance, power, area, and effort.
• Work with design domains RTL/circuit/SD to converge to timing targets with no compromise on quality or schedule.
• Own pre-to-post silicon VF correlation and drive debug of circuit marginality sightings.
