Job description

The Engineering Program Manager will join the Video Engineering EPM team to focus on next generation video technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development and program management, along with excellent communication skills. This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams to drive and track projects, while ensuring effective coordination with engineering teams. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying technical risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
  • Proven track record of program management experience taking a product through all the stages of development.
  • Hands-on experience with AI in the workplace beyond just using LLMs.
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in program management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive, plan and track firmware and low-level software projects.
  • Build development schedules, identify critical paths, and drive project/program execution.
  • Identify and highlight technical risk areas and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure continuous coordination and communication with engineering teams.
  • Synthesize and abstract large amounts of data into concise analyses that provide key findings and recommendations.
