JobsSenior Circuit Design Engineer - Noise
Job description
The Senior Circuit Design Engineer will join NVIDIA's dynamic team to enhance the netlist and timing quality of designs. This role focuses on cutting-edge processor design using deep submicron technologies and involves collaboration with global circuits teams. The engineer will work on innovative circuit designs for silicon correlation and noise mitigation, while also mentoring junior team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive technology that amplifies human potential.
Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent experience; MS preferred in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
- Good understanding of deep submicron process issues and digital circuit design techniques.
- Familiarity with analog and mixed-signal block design such as op-amp, comparator, and ADC.
- Hands-on experience running Spice simulations, EM/IR analysis, and static timing analysis/closure.
- Experience with spice simulation for noise analysis, loop stability analysis, ac/dc/transient analysis, and monte-carlo.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cutting-edge processor design in deep submicron technologies.
- Work as part of a global circuits team to design innovative circuits for silicon correlation and noise mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the performance and reliability of NVIDIA's next generation products.
- Drive the design and physical implementation of digital and/or mixed-signal analog circuit IPs for voltage and noise sensing.
- Create prototypes of patentable ideas on test chips and drive them to be deployed across the entire line of products.
- Be a mentor and technical lead for junior team members.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
