Job description

The Principal Memory Simulation Architect will focus on designing and developing advanced GPU memory and on-chip interconnect models. This role requires a strong background in architectural simulation and GPU memory systems. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with engineering teams to translate product requirements into effective architectural solutions. This position offers the chance to significantly impact the company's technology direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong performance modeling experience with the ability to build and validate architectural simulation infrastructure at scale.
  • Experience in large-scale software development projects and strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python or other scripting languages.
  • Deep GPU architecture experience, including memory systems and on-chip interconnect design.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine NOC performance and functional models using the latest AI technologies.
  • Define and architect innovative features for next-generation GPU memory and on-chip interconnect subsystems.
  • Analyze benchmarks, application workloads, and simulation/emulation results to identify architecture optimizations.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to translate product requirements into architectural solutions.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
