The Software Integration & Test (I&T) Engineer at Amazon Leo for Government will work within a multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, and test innovative space-based and terrestrial applications. This role focuses on developing the architecture and executing the design, build, and validation of test systems for complex systems and subsystems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure that systems exceed customer expectations. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development, software test, or related industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing code in C, C++, Python, Docker, and Rust on Linux platform.
• 3+ years of experience in software infrastructure design and development for CI/CD systems.
• Experience in developing and reviewing requirements to support various test phases.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with on-orbit payload verification or satellite testing.

• Create test algorithms, test scripts, automation, data visualizations, and calibration routines for test systems.
• Analyze software test data and engage cross-functionally with teammates, partners, suppliers, or customers.
• Architect, design, and validate software tooling required for verification and validation of complex hardware systems.
• Prepare reports documenting test results, test coverage, performance results, and communicate issues effectively.
• Manage and track test anomalies, defects, and bugs to closure.
• Debug, root-cause, and make continuous improvements of control systems in a high-rate production environment.
