Job description

The WPC EPM team is seeking an experienced project manager to lead Payment projects for Apple's Payment Platform. This role involves collaborating with various engineering teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment. The project manager will be responsible for scoping, preparing, and executing projects while managing documentation and communication. The position requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to navigate ambiguity to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong background in system implementation project management using proven software development techniques.
  • Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills with various audiences and levels.
  • Ability to quickly respond to changes in business scenarios, projects, and resources.
  • Proven past in technical and engineering project delivery.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Payment projects and deliver integrated system solutions.
  • Scope and prepare projects from the beginning across multiple teams.
  • Manage project risk and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate aspects of project information including timelines and resource allocation.
  • Assist management in assessing and prioritizing projects while seeking problem resolutions.
  • Analyze data and report project status at all levels.
  • Facilitate cross-functional engineering discussions and requirements brainstorming sessions.
