As an engineer in the AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) team, you will design, build, and operate database migration services that replicate data securely at scale. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design and code solutions to drive efficiencies in software architecture
• Create metrics, implement automation, and resolve root causes of software defects
• Build high-impact solutions for a large customer base
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews
