Job description

As an engineer in the AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) team, you will design, build, and operate database migration services that replicate data securely at scale. You will work with a team of experienced professionals to solve challenging distributed systems problems and contribute to the future direction of the service. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
  • Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities
