The role is for an experienced Software Development Engineer in the AWS Marketplace team, which focuses on enhancing the online store for software and services on the AWS Cloud. The team is responsible for driving revenue and growth while providing world-class support to customers. The ideal candidate will work on complex system software, influencing product features and system architecture. A commitment to quality software and operational excellence is essential.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end
- Collaborate with other engineers, principal engineers, product managers, and partner teams
- Solve complex business problems of cloud marketplaces with straightforward solutions
- Apply appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices
- Build solutions that scale and perform well
