Job description

The Software Development Engineer II role at Amazon focuses on delivering innovative technology solutions for the Delivery Experience (DEX) team. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and own technologies in the Delivery programs space
  • Help define new product features and drive the system architecture
  • Spearhead best practices that enable a quality product
  • Contribute to the overall strategy of the team
