Apple is looking for a highly motivated Wireless System Architect to join their product systems architecture team. This role focuses on driving the design, requirements, and validation of wireless subsystems for Apple's Vision products. The architect will collaborate with RF hardware, software, and design engineers to shape wireless architecture and enhance user experience. The position requires finding creative solutions to meet product KPIs while working under various hardware constraints.

• MS in Wireless Communications or a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in design, development, and testing of wireless communication systems
• Technical expertise in WiFi, Bluetooth, and UWB technologies
• Expertise in end-to-end system architecture, wireless drivers, software stacks, and networking protocols
• Experience in driving performance validation of wireless hardware and software designs
• Expertise in scripting and automation using Python, C, Matlab, and other scripting languages
• Familiarity with RF tools like spectrum analyzers and channel emulators
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to present technical topics to leadership
• PhD in Wireless Communications or a relevant field is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in development and testing of wireless communication systems is preferred
• Experience in defining technical wireless requirements for high volume consumer electronics products is desired
• Experience in productization of wireless software features is highly desired
• Experience in running detailed wireless simulations using Matlab, Python, NS3, etc.
• Knowledge of Apple OS, Xcode, and APIs would be a plus
• AR/MR productization experience is a plus
