Job description

The role is part of the Americas Core Compliance team, focusing on providing compliance support for the Engineering division, particularly regarding governance and controls related to the use of Artificial Intelligence. The team works to integrate AI within the firm while ensuring compliance with emerging regulatory requirements. Candidates will collaborate with various divisions and participate in global initiatives to uphold compliance standards. The position requires sound judgment and the ability to adapt to a changing regulatory landscape.

Requirements

  • At least 6-8 years of work experience in compliance or risk management, preferably focused on technology risk.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with a graduate degree in information security or risk management being a plus.
  • Familiarity with risks associated with the deployment of AI technologies in the financial sector.
  • Good understanding of technology functions and associated risks.
  • Experience reading and interpreting regulations, laws, and statutes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and participate in the firm's response to emerging regulatory requirements related to AI.
  • Assist in developing AI governance as it pertains to the firm's internal strategy and framework.
  • Participate in key steering groups and control forums to ensure governance processes are integrated into the Compliance framework.
  • Advise and influence the Engineering Division regarding regulations, policies, and reputational risk.
  • Analyze and conduct ongoing reviews of technology regulations and trends to assess their impact on the firm.
