Job description

NVIDIA is seeking senior software engineers for its Infrastructure, Planning and Process Team (IPP) to enhance AI adoption across engineering workflows. The team collaborates with various departments to develop tools and software solutions that leverage Large Language Models and agentic AI. The role focuses on automating software engineering workflows to improve productivity and reliability. Candidates will work in a diverse environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with a Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of work experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning (ML), and Agentic AI techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Go, along with extensive Python scripting.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
  • Proficient in full stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-driven optimizations within software development workflows.
  • Continuously measure and report on the impact of AI interventions.
  • Create and deploy predictive models to identify high-risk commits and forecast potential build failures.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend best practices.
  • Collaborate across organizational boundaries to enhance alignment and productivity.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
