Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a software engineer to join the Nsight Compute team, focusing on developing performance tools for GPUs. This role involves collaborating with various teams within NVIDIA, including hardware and compiler teams, to innovate in the field of Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for GPU technology. Your contributions will help shape the future of profiling tools used by CUDA developers globally.

Requirements

  • 8+ years proven experience in software engineering with a focus on performance tools.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C++.
  • Existing knowledge of GPU hardware or a motivation to learn for collaboration with hardware teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative features for GPU performance profiling tools.
  • Collaborate and interact with other teams within NVIDIA, including the GPU hardware team and the compiler team.
  • Apply knowledge and skills to build tools that are used by CUDA developers worldwide.
