Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a creative PCB Design Engineer to join their team focused on ATE test platforms. The role involves designing production and characterization boards for various NVIDIA products, including GPUs and automotive solutions. The engineer will collaborate with test engineers and vendors to enhance board fabrication and assembly processes. This position offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of technological advancement in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Requirements

  • BSEE or higher with a focus on RF/communication or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in ATE board design
  • Experience working with SI/PI teams to improve performance of high frequency signals
  • Proficiency in Excel with working knowledge of Cadence Allegro, SPICE, PCB impedance calculator and Perl
  • Critical thinking, good communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent debugging, analytical and technical writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Design ATE production loadboards and other evaluation boards for characterization
  • Work closely with the test engineers and vendors to resolve component and board fabrication and assembly issues
  • Participate in conferences and keep abreast of industry trends
  • Actively participate with cross functional teams including design, SI, high speed characterization, DFT, and ATE test to implement effective test solutions
