Job description

Amazon is seeking motivated students for the Jr. Developer Program, where they will work as Jr. Software Development Engineers. This year-round internship allows students to write real software and collaborate with experienced engineers while balancing work and school. Participants will receive 1:1 mentorship and contribute to impactful projects in a supportive environment. The program is designed for students graduating in June 2028 and beyond, with opportunities for full-time employment upon completion.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
  • Graduating June 2028 and beyond.
  • Majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Ability to work year-round until graduation, part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer.
  • Ability to work in person year-round at the San Luis Obispo corporate office.
  • Must be living within commutable distance to San Luis Obispo, CA.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, or C++ including object-oriented design.
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work through ambiguity.

Responsibilities
