The Senior Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer at Amazon Web Services will be part of a global engineering team focused on designing and implementing energy-efficient plumbing and fire protection systems for data centers. Engineers will drive standardization across global regions and participate in the continuous innovation of designs. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities
• 6+ years of design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• Professional Engineering or Architectural License
• Experience with BIM/Revit
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for the region

• Design and implement energy-efficient plumbing and fire protection systems for data centers.
• Create comprehensive documentation for designs and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement through data analysis and system optimization.
• Guide project teams through planning, execution, and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with teams or individuals from other disciplines, cultures, and countries.
• Produce clear and concise documentation such as detailed design specifications and reports.
• Drive standardization in the data center plumbing and fire-protection spaces.
• Provide technical support on global Large Scale Events, including participation on deep dives and investigations.
• Maintain and host technical forums for collaborative development of data center systems.
