This position is for an engineer on the S3 Engineering team, focused on maintaining and improving cloud storage solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community agencies. The role emphasizes operational excellence, troubleshooting complex system operations, and creating automation tools to enhance service efficiency. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative cloud computing solutions while ensuring the best customer experience. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

• Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification.
• 2+ years of systems administration experience in Linux and/or Networking.
• Strong debugging and systems analysis skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills at all levels, from application to network to host.
• Experience working with at least one scripting language.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies.
• In lieu of above relevant work experience, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• Investigate new ways to improve operations and define solutions for complex cloud issues.
• Maintain service health by analyzing performance metrics and logs.
• Deep dive into system architecture to understand configuration and dependencies.
• Expand regional coverage for Amazon's Simple Storage Solution (S3).
• Build and launch AWS services from hardware ordering to software deployment.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support operational needs.
• Support the U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies with innovative cloud solutions.
