This role involves participating in the development of next-generation online and in-store payment services at Amazon. The team focuses on building systems that process payments at a large scale with high accuracy and availability. Engineers will work on innovative solutions to enhance customer experience across various payment methods and currencies. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Develop and maintain payment processing systems that handle millions of transactions daily.
• Design and implement scalable software solutions using languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve customer payment experiences.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of existing systems through effective design patterns.
• Participate in code reviews, source control management, and testing processes.
