Job description

The role involves joining a high-caliber team focused on developing the next generation EUV actinic mask inspection platform. The candidate will coordinate across various engineering functions to meet technical, schedule, and budgetary requirements. This position requires a strong technical background and experience in managing projects from requirements through testing and manufacturing handoff. The team is part of KLA's Global Products Group, which specializes in metrology and inspection products for the semiconductor industry.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or 2 years of work experience, Master's degree or 4 years of work experience, or Bachelor's degree or 5 years of work experience.
  • Strong background in engineering or physical sciences with demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of optical, electromechanical, and software systems and their interactions.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, opto-mechanics, and motion control systems.
  • Experience with lasers, illumination systems, and CCD/CMOS cameras is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help define subsystem architectures and develop requirement specifications and test plans.
  • Work with functional groups to define and review designs.
  • Participate in prototype integration and testing of assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
  • Create and execute test plans and perform analysis to validate system performance.
  • Create and document calibration, manufacturing, and service procedures.
  • Troubleshoot system and subsystem issues and collaborate with various teams to implement solutions.
  • Support internal and external customers in optimizing tool performance and implementing effective processes.
