Job description

KLA is looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer in Test Automation with over 6 years of hands-on experience. This role focuses on designing, building, and scaling code-driven automation for UI, REST/API, and system-level testing in semiconductor products. The ideal candidate will have strong software development skills and be responsible for creating maintainable automation frameworks and reliable automated tests. The position involves collaboration with multi-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency in testing processes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or R.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Strong skills in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods.
  • Knowledge of technologies like Kafka, Kubernetes, MySQL, and Hadoop is a plus.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools, preferably Jenkins.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Doctorate degree with no experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated UI test suites for Windows desktop applications.
  • Design reusable UI automation components to simplify maintenance.
  • Create and maintain automated tests for REST interfaces and service integrations.
  • Own end-to-end automated validation for key features involving software and hardware interactions.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional team members to plan and execute test strategies.
  • Build automation and infrastructure that supports complex environments.
  • Lead test planning and strategy execution across various teams.
  • Use intelligent algorithms to identify root causes of software failures and present findings.
