The Firmware Engineer will define and develop firmware platforms for Apple products, requiring a strong background in embedded technologies. The engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining hardware/software systems.

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
• 4+ years of embedded firmware development experience in RTOS environments.
• Strong coding skills in C/C++ in production environments.
• Experience with hard real-time systems and ARM architectures.
• Familiarity with common serial communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, or UART.
• Basic understanding of USB protocol.
• Experience with motion/motor control systems or safety-critical systems.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
