Job description

We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our applied research and engineering group focused on developing advanced Computer Vision and Machine Perception technologies. The role emphasizes collaboration and innovation in multimodal inputs and large language models. Candidates will engage in the full lifecycle of Multimodal LLM development, from ideation to model training and fine-tuning. This position offers the chance to lead groundbreaking research projects that bridge foundational concepts with practical applications.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. with relevant research background, or Master of Science and a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated track record through publications, patents, and/or shipping relevant features
  • Strong Python programming experience
  • Strong PyTorch and/or JAX programming experience
  • Strong publication record in relevant venues, such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.
  • Technical leadership experience guiding technical efforts across diverse teams/individuals
  • Experience in shipping multimodal LLMs in products

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of multimodal LLMs from early ideation to fine-tuning
  • Balance advanced research with product delivery to ensure high quality
  • Utilize AI code development tools to accelerate the development process
  • Lead and guide technical efforts across diverse teams
  • Engage in groundbreaking research projects that span foundational concepts and practical applications
