The OS Performance team focuses on enhancing the performance of Apple's products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. This role involves collaborating with various software teams across Apple to understand and solve performance-related challenges. Candidates will engage in coding and analysis to optimize existing software and develop new features. A strong emphasis is placed on best practices and performance measurement.

• At least one object-oriented programming language experience is required.
• Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python or Ruby is necessary.
• A BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience writing native apps for iOS, macOS, or watchOS is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Xcode Instruments suite is required.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills are essential.
• Experience in understanding large system architectures is necessary.
