The Data Center Water Engineer will be part of the Execution Engineering team, focusing on the planning, modeling, and design of water treatment and conveyance systems for data center campuses. This role involves collaborating with various engineering disciplines to secure water resources and manage critical infrastructure delivery. The engineer will ensure compliance with codes and standards while developing owner standards and program requirements. The position requires a visionary approach to optimize efficiencies and drive improvements in data center operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of utility projects.
- Experience with utility treatment and distribution systems.
- Experience working with cross-discipline teams including structural, civil, IT/Telecom, mechanical, electrical, and architectural.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of site due diligence and campus master planning studies.
- Analyze utility usage data to identify efficiency opportunities and present clear recommendations to management.
- Develop and optimize standardized engineering designs and tools to streamline the site planning process.
- Provide technical review and guidance for utility agreements to ensure specifications align with engineering requirements.
- Support the development and enforcement of regional water policy strategies and technical standards.
