Rivian is seeking an intern for Fall 2026 to support the development of future vehicle products. The role involves financial analysis, forecasting, and variance commentary on the development roadmap. Interns will work closely with program controllers and contribute to business cases for key product decisions. This position is ideal for students passionate about the automotive or sustainable energy industries.

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree at an accredited university.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
• Understanding of basic financial concepts, including how to read the three financial statements.
• Basic skills in Excel and financial modeling, with preference for experience in NPV, IRR, or payback period calculations.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a willingness to connect with team members.

• Provide budgeting and forecast support for core Rivian vehicle products.
• Conduct variance analysis of R&D and product forecasts by reviewing monthly spend.
• Support product decision-making by gathering inputs from engineering and supply chain teams.
• Review ongoing product profitability targets for accuracy and performance against targets.
• Assist the vehicle line controller in delivering target performance presentations.
