Job description
The Adhesion & Laser Process Lab Engineer will join Apple's advanced manufacturing team, focusing on developing and optimizing precision adhesive joint systems and laser processing operations. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure process excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in adhesive processes and laser equipment operation. This position demands hands-on problem solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience working with precision adhesive processes such as dispense and lamination.
- Bachelor's degree minimum (Master's preferred) in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a relevant STEM field.
- Experience designing experiments focused on selecting optimal adhesive chemistry, processes, and joint designs.
- Familiarity with operating and programming various dispense tools.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as NX, Catia, or Solidworks.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
Responsibilities
