The Software Engineer role in the Video Engineering group at Apple focuses on framework development, automation, and data pipeline engineering. • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
• 2+ years of experience in Python programming
• 1+ years of experience in software framework design and development
• 1+ years of experience with a major cloud platform such as AWS
• Comfortable with Git, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases
• Experience designing and deploying automated systems
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and engineering best practices
• Experience with robotics or industrial automation, including familiarity with robot kinematics and motion planning
• Strong curiosity and drive to explore new technologies, including AI/LLM tools
• Familiarity with device automation and UI scripting on Apple platforms
• Experience building internal tooling or lightweight web interfaces
• Good verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
