Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Test Solution Group, focusing on developing manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter system products. The role involves collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure efficient testing processes. The Test Engineer will manage test facilities, oversee cooling designs, and drive improvements in testing metrics. This position is crucial for maintaining high standards in product validation and failure analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in PCBA and System products validation.
- 3+ years of manufacturing testing experience at a production factory.
- 3+ years of experience in facility cooling design and management.
- BS Degree or MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing from chip to system.
- Background in production test setup including failure analysis and problem solving.
- Experience designing, qualifying, and upgrading test fixtures/testers.
- Knowledge of server architecture, design, components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external teams to develop and maintain manufacturing test solutions.
- Setup, validate, and support rack level tester platforms at various sites.
- Oversee test facility design and development with efficient cooling setups.
- Manage test facility KPIs and drive hardware and software upgrades.
- Conduct failure analysis and identify root causes of issues.
- Drive key tester metrics such as uptime and recovery time.
- Develop test strategies for new product features and recommend improvements.
- Provide regular status reporting and improvement recommendations to management.
