Job description

The Implementation Methodology Engineer will join NVIDIA's VLSI team, focusing on front-end design implementation methodologies and flow automation. This role requires a self-starter who enjoys collaborating to solve complex technical problems. The engineer will work closely with logic and physical designers to enhance NVIDIA's workflows and support EDA tools. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic team environment and is passionate about innovation in technology.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in logic design implementation and/or physical design implementation.
  • Strong automation skills.
  • Good understanding of physical design implementation including physical synthesis, placement, routing, and logic restructuring.
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all aspects of front-end design implementation methodologies including synthesis and formal-equivalence-checking.
  • Develop in-house solutions to improve NVIDIA's workflows.
  • Collaborate with logic designers and physical designers to solve implementation issues.
  • Provide support for EDA tools and flows.
