Job description
The Implementation Methodology Engineer will join NVIDIA's VLSI team, focusing on front-end design implementation methodologies and flow automation. This role requires a self-starter who enjoys collaborating to solve complex technical problems. The engineer will work closely with logic and physical designers to enhance NVIDIA's workflows and support EDA tools. Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in logic design implementation and/or physical design implementation.
- Strong automation skills.
- Good understanding of physical design implementation including physical synthesis, placement, routing, and logic restructuring.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all aspects of front-end design implementation methodologies including synthesis and formal-equivalence-checking.
- Develop in-house solutions to improve NVIDIA's workflows.
- Collaborate with logic designers and physical designers to solve implementation issues.
- Provide support for EDA tools and flows.
