Job description

NVIDIA is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to lead the development of end-to-end solutions for timing and constraint analysis workflows. This role involves working within a cross-disciplinary team to build intelligent systems that enhance engineering productivity. The engineer will focus on integrating various data sources and developing autonomous analysis agents to optimize workflows. The position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of AI and semiconductor engineering.

Requirements

  • BS or equivalent experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 12+ years of experience in AI/ML solution development.
  • Strong background in VLSI/ASIC design with a deep understanding of timing, constraints, STA, or sign-off workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and graph or agentic AI frameworks.
  • Experience developing data pipelines, knowledge graphs, or process models for structured engineering data.
  • Working knowledge of timing tools such as PrimeTime, Nanotime, and Tempus.
  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks and multi-agent automation is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a mentality for experimentation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop AI-driven solutions for static timing, constraints quality, and closure prediction.
  • Integrate heterogeneous data sources into structured knowledge bases and training pipelines.
  • Develop autonomous analysis agents that interact with timing tools for optimization and constraint debugging.
  • Implement scalable orchestration across Flow-Server and Digital Engineer platforms.
  • Collaborate with methodology and sign-off teams to validate models on live projects.
  • Build interpretable AI pipelines using graph neural networks and large language models.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle from data curation and model training to deployment and monitoring.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
