Job description

This role focuses on driving technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing and future technology at Intel. The position requires a strong presence on-site to lead the design and development of advanced manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with device specifications. The team is dedicated to enhancing production efficiency and optimizing output through innovative solutions and partnerships with suppliers. Candidates will engage in feasibility studies and remain updated on industry trends to support the company's technological roadmap.

Requirements

  • PhD with 10+ years of directly relevant experience, or Master's degree with 15+ years of experience in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a semiconductor related STEM field.
  • Proven track record of technical ownership and delivery of dry etch process innovations.
  • Expert level understanding of plasma physics and advanced semiconductor processes.
  • Extensive experience with advanced data analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to define long term technical direction and translate research concepts into manufacturable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing.
  • Lead design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
  • Perform feasibility studies to meet desired device specifications.
  • Recommend and implement modifications for operating equipment to improve production efficiency.
  • Partner with key equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling elements of technology.
