Job description
The Manufacturing Process Engineer for Night Shift at Elanco is responsible for supporting the design, operation, control, and optimization of technical processes at the monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility. This role requires expertise in process and equipment, focusing on development, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The engineer will play a crucial role in day-to-day operations, managing changes and deviations, and delivering capital projects. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological or related engineering discipline
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a related/relevant industry
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work, prioritize, and deliver results with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of cGMP standards and/or experience working in a regulated environment
- Success working in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and on-floor support for process and equipment by troubleshooting issues and assisting manufacturing teams.
- Ensure equipment qualification and compliance by maintaining the qualified state of process equipment and overseeing interventions.
- Drive performance and process optimization through data analysis to monitor equipment and process performance.
- Lead and support the full lifecycle of capital projects, including design, development, execution, and validation.
- Develop and manage technical documentation and risk mitigation strategies by preparing and updating key documentation.
