As a Fleet Remediation Data Center Retrofit Mechanical Engineer at Amazon, you will lead design projects in operational data centers to address issues, upgrade infrastructure, and add new services. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure consistency and reliability in service delivery while managing multiple projects across different regions. You will utilize your mechanical or electrical expertise to support construction, commissioning, and operations. • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities
• Professional Engineer License
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment related to data center operations

• Own the design for existing data center upgrades and new infrastructure solutions.
• Perform design and equipment submittal reviews for Data Centers in your region.
• Interface with internal and external engineering teams to promote standards.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert during new remediation projects.
• Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover of projects.
• Prepare and present progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage design and as-built drawings and documents.
