• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 7+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 7+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in networking or large-scale distributed systems
• Experience programming with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust

• Own multiple services and features, architecting them to scale with robust unit tests and metrics
• Understand customer needs by working with stakeholders and translating them into software requirements
• Deliver quality features on-time and on-budget while executing against project plans
• Lead team members in day-to-day development activities, including design and code reviews
• Mentor and guide junior engineers towards effective software development techniques
• Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology and introduce new technologies
