Job description
The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Apple Services Engineering Security team, focusing on building secure systems and infrastructure for Apple's services like iCloud and Siri. This role involves writing software that ensures the highest security standards across Apple's server infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with a small team of senior software engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address various security challenges. The position requires a strong understanding of software development and security implications in distributed systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering high quality enterprise software
- Experience writing applications in Rust, C++, C, and/or GO
- Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of distributed systems design patterns and security implications
- In-depth knowledge of technologies such as SSL, TCP/IP, and X 509 certificates
- Deep understanding of Object Oriented and SOA design concepts
- Experience with Linux and Shell Scripts
- Experience in designing systems with high performance, scalability, and availability
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
