Job description
As a Project Engineer at Arcadis, you will support the design and construction teams in delivering sustainable solutions for natural and built assets. You will assist in running design and construction meetings, field checks, and preparing necessary documentation. This role emphasizes collaboration and compliance with applicable codes and practices while maintaining project schedules and budgets. Requirements
- BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- 5 years of experience in managing multiple design and construction projects.
- 4 years of additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education.
- Experience within a large capital improvement program and familiarity with the California Public Contract Code.
- 2 years of experience in educational facility construction.
Responsibilities
- Assist in correspondence, reports, procedures, guidelines, meeting minutes, and proposed actions.
- Help coordinate with the Design Team for conformance review and timely responses.
- Assist in requests for information, submittals, and construction change documents.
- Maintain project files in both electronic and paper format.
- Assist in managing the project budget and keeping the project on schedule.
- Monitor compliance with applicable codes and practices.
