Job description

The role at NVIDIA involves collaborating with engineering teams to launch new GPU Accelerated Server Platforms for Deep Learning and AI environments. The position focuses on productizing new GPU boards while ensuring compliance with quality metrics. Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in hardware design, diagnostics, validation, or manufacturing test of ASIC chips, boards, and systems
  • Proficient in hardware interfaces including PCIe, InfiniBand, Ethernet, I3C/I2C, SPI, and USB
  • In-depth understanding of HPC server architecture and Out-of-Band management
  • Familiarity with FPGA/CPLD implementation and firmware secure-boot
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise
  • Experience in defining test and validation specifications for complex hardware systems
  • Motivated to continually improve and optimize processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to new technologies

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop new diagnostic tests and debug procedures for next-generation products
  • Debug complex interactions between hardware, firmware, and software on faulty boards
  • Recommend and ensure compliance with DFx requirements for signal integrity performance
  • Own a product or series of products through the entire product lifecycle
  • Develop and deliver test specifications for system-level manufacturing screens
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers to define product assembly lines and optimize for cost and throughput
  • Craft solutions through data analysis and lab experimentation to solve yield and test problems
  • Lead optimization and continuous improvement efforts on production screen specification processes
  • Support customer-facing and quality teams during escalations to address issues
