NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer - Boards to join their Board Product Development Engineering team. This role focuses on bringing complex board products from design to mass production, working at the intersection of various engineering disciplines. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of innovative products. This position offers the opportunity to impact factory planning and product development significantly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in design, manufacturing, validation, product development, or testing of PCBs or similar systems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in server architectures, board/PCB design, SMT, assembly, or high-speed interface validation.
- Strong grasp of testing strategies and their relation to yields and test time.
- Ability to debug complicated multi-disciplinary problems.
Responsibilities
- Work on NVIDIA gaming, workstation, and compute GPU cards during NPI and in production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve fast-paced delivery schedules.
- Provide DFx recommendations to the design team during the product design phase.
- Root cause failing boards using lab equipment and software tools.
- Analyze yield and parametric data using available tools and programming.
- Perform product design and validation to support design engineering sustaining work.
- Define and improve manufacturing test plans to optimize coverage and yield.
- Direct local and overseas contract manufacturing factories to transition new products to mass production.
- Regularly report product status and recommend improvements to management.
