Job description

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced senior manager to lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers in North America. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality of NVIDIA's complex AI systems by collaborating with various internal and external teams. The successful candidate will manage quality performance and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes. Requirements

  • MS degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a related engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ overall years of quality engineering experience of which 5+ years as a people manager.
  • Extensive experience in large volume PCBA, tray and rack manufacturing for datacenter/server/networking/liquid cooled AI products.
  • Practical experience in the effective use of Quality core tools such as 8D, 5-Why, 6S, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma/Lean, MRB, QBR.
  • Exemplary communication and proven problem solving skills, including data analytics and logical analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of experienced quality engineers to oversee NVIDIA's manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with NVIDIA's Quality standards.
  • Manage manufacturing partners' quality performance through audits and metric management.
  • Lead complex quality excursion management and new site/supplier qualification.
  • Cooperate with internal teams as the main factory quality interface.
  • Develop quality management strategy and identify risks in early product phases.
  • Drive global Quality process harmonization and cross-functional initiatives.
