Job description
The role is part of Apple's Camera Calibration and Test team, which ensures high product quality for devices with built-in cameras. The individual will manage vendors and projects, focusing on camera technology and quality improvements. Responsibilities include overseeing test maturity preparation and engaging with various technical areas related to camera systems. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Color Science, Imaging Science, or a related field.
- Experience in at least one of the following domains: CMOS Image Sensor Test or Validation, Lens quality analysis and testing, ATE, VCM Actuation and position sensor calibration and test, Image quality analysis, or Data analysis and visualization.
- 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Second-language skills in Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin Chinese are a notable asset.
- Ability to perform assignments at both a theoretical high-level and practical detailed-level.
- Proficiency in managing a team of vendor members for specific tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage vendors and projects, overseeing all aspects of test maturity preparation.
- Set priorities for Module Integrators (MI) and participate proactively in post-build FACA activities.
- Work with MIs to implement improvements, including enhancing tester UPH, retest rates, and efficiency.
- Engage with a broad spectrum of technical areas related to camera technology.
- Review mechanical and electrical designs for sockets, fixtures, and test systems.
- Review and modify source codes in MATLAB/Python.
- Conduct data analysis and visualization.
