The iPhone team is seeking a highly motivated technical engineering manager to lead a world-class engineering team in the development of the iPhone. This leadership position focuses on hardware design from product concept to mass production, impacting overall design and user experience. The role involves managing a team of Electrical Engineers and collaborating with multi-functional technology teams in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be prepared for international travel as needed.

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years of industry experience
• Experience in leading a team of engineers and supporting their day-to-day activities
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering including analog and high-speed digital design
• Experience with designing complex system architectures
• Broad experience across different applications and technologies
• Experience with schematic capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout
• Experience in prototype design and validation of custom silicon
• 2+ years of lead or management experience
• Desire to be a visible project leader and decision maker
• Familiarity with the development process from early architecture through to production
• Ability to analyze solutions and make system design trade-offs
• Ability to dive deep into system level issues and drive solutions in a multi-functional environment
• Hands-on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult/intermittent hardware issues
• Strong fundamentals in Signal and Power Integrity
• Understanding of low voltage power regulation and delivery
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
