Job description

The Software Integrity Engineer will join the Bluetooth Quality Engineering team within Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems to drive innovation and enhance user experiences on Apple products. This role focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining next-generation connectivity solutions. The engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure quality and address issues effectively. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience defining test plans and creating test cases from technical specifications and feature requirements
  • 2+ years of experience validating and testing products with domain expertise in Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, Audio, or Networking
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins is a plus
  • Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive test plans for new features, factoring in technical details and customer experience
  • Develop test automation scripts using Python and maintain reports of all automation issues and test results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement automation feature requests
  • Drive quality and champion bug fixes while analyzing root causes for issues
  • Perform regular maintenance and debugging of test setups and scripts
  • Build creative solutions for testing current and next generation products
