Job description

Join Apple's wireless silicon development team, which focuses on creating highly energy-efficient wireless SoCs. The team is responsible for all aspects of wireless silicon development, emphasizing innovative technologies that enhance user experience. This role involves collaborating with a vertically integrated engineering team across various domains, including RF/Analog architecture and VLSI/RTL design. The ideal candidate will contribute to signal processing designs and ensure optimal performance and power efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant experience in the related field.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
  • Proficiency in RTL Design.
  • Familiarity with UVM DV environment and AI-based efficiency improvement flows.
  • Solid understanding of wireless standards such as IEEE 802.11, 802.15, Bluetooth, or 3GPP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop signal processing intensive designs for wireless communication SoCs.
  • Write specifications and define Microarchitecture based on MATLAB/C system models.
  • Architect area and power-efficient low latency designs with scalability and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with algorithm and software teams to ensure performance and power efficiency.
  • Run tools to ensure lint and CDC/RDC clean designs and manage synthesis and timing constraints.
