Job description
This role is part of the Quality Engineering team focused on delivering high-quality data for next-generation health sensing technologies. The position involves ensuring the robustness, accuracy, and stability of large-scale data processing pipelines and monitoring tools. The candidate will collaborate with multi-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, and quality assurance, to test and validate data platforms. This role is crucial for enabling Health Algorithms research by maintaining high-quality data at scale.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong software development skills with 2+ years of experience programming in Python
- Experience with Apache Spark/PySpark, Apache Airflow, and Pandas/Numpy
- Experience with infrastructure test automation and CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS
- Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB
- Quality driven, detail oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Design, own, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks.
- Create services and tools for testing and monitoring data processing infrastructure.
- Provide feedback and reporting on data pipelines and inform partnering teams of issues or progress.
- Test the functionality and accuracy of data pipelines and data monitoring tools using Python and Spark.
- Understand complex software and data processing systems to ensure robust and reliable data processing.
