Job description

Join Apple's wireless silicon development team, focusing on the design and development of energy-efficient wireless communication SoCs. The team emphasizes innovative technologies that enhance user experience, supported by a vertically integrated engineering approach. This role involves working on signal processing designs and collaborating with algorithm and software teams to optimize performance and power efficiency. Candidates will engage in various aspects of RTL design and verification for wireless protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in the related field.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
  • Proficiency in RTL Design.
  • Familiarity with UVM DV environment and AI-based efficiency improvement flows.
  • Solid understanding of wireless standards such as IEEE 802.11, 802.15, Bluetooth, or 3GPP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop signal processing intensive designs for wireless communication SoCs.
  • Write specifications and define Microarchitecture based on MATLAB/C system models.
  • Architect area and power-efficient low latency designs with scalability and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with algorithm and software teams to ensure performance and power efficiency.
  • Run tools to ensure lint and CDC/RDC clean design, including synthesis and timing constraints.

Benefits
