The Senior Backend Software Engineer will join Apple's Evaluation organization, focusing on the design and development of the Annotation Platform. This platform is essential for enhancing Apple's AI and machine learning features while ensuring user data protection. The role requires a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, along with experience in building scalable web applications. The engineer will work collaboratively with the frontend team to develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience with Java.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
- Proven track record in designing, building and maintaining complex, scalable web applications.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks to ensure application stability and performance.
- Knowledge of database systems and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in AI engineering and ML systems is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) is preferred.
Responsibilities
