Job description
The iPhone Touch Sensing Technology team aims to create the best user experiences through innovative sensing solutions. As a Touch Sensing Architect, you will be integral in developing and integrating new sensor technologies for the iPhone. The role involves collaboration across various technical teams and focuses on delivering high-precision, low-latency MultiTouch solutions. You will work in a hands-on environment that encourages engineering excellence and creativity.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience in system-level design, architecture, characterization, and validation.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, SPICE, COMSOL or similar packages.
- Deep understanding of physics, analog circuits, and linear algebra.
- Experience with high-volume mass production is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, model, prototype, and integrate new sensor solutions for the iPhone.
- Collaborate with technical teams including EE, Math, Physics, and Algorithms.
- Deliver technology from proof-of-concept through ultra-high-volume production.
- Play a key role in the architecture and launch of next-generation touch sensing technologies.
