Job description

The Senior Digital Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs will play a crucial role in designing and implementing key components of the technology stack. Requirements

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of combined experience in an engineering capacity.
  • 4+ years in a system architecture role with responsibilities including tool selection and design decisions.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client and product-focused mindset with experience collaborating with product managers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design of critical components in the technology stack.
  • Oversee the implementation of new features, focusing on code quality and automation.
  • Collaborate with a global cross-functional team in building customer-centric products.
  • Design flows and systems using cloud and on-prem technologies for performance and scalability.
  • Contribute to SDLC documentation and guidance including templates and controls.
  • Perform code reviews and establish code quality standards for distributed systems.
