As an associate engineer in the Internal Audit Application Engineering team, you will design, implement, and deploy secure and scalable services. You will work with a variety of technologies, including cloud solutions, to address customer challenges. The role involves influencing product features and driving operational excellence while managing existing services. You will also focus on automating processes to enhance productivity and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of software development experience in Java / J2EE related technologies.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working in microservice architecture.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the Spring framework.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL and any relational/columnar database.
- Experience working on Agile processes such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in using REST APIs to build server-side applications.
- Strong knowledge of coding best practices, design patterns, and anti-patterns.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production use cases.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Own product or feature end-to-end from development to production.
- Ensure developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concerns.
- Work closely with stakeholders and peers for solution designing and implementation.
- Manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments.
- Assist in the continual hiring and development of technical talent.
- Create and execute quality plans, project plans, and test strategies for development activities.
- Mentor junior members in the team.
- Drive automation of processes such as build, testing, deployment, and distribution.
